Hawzah News Agency- The Head of Imam Baqir (PBUH) Seminary Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Jalal Hosseini in an interview with Hawzah News correspondent in Kurdistan province has condemned the cowardly assassination of Hamas Chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran.
The Head of Imam Baqir (peace be upon him) seminary in Kamiyaran city continued,” This cowardly act is a clear example of global and state terrorism proving that Israel does not adhere to any international obligations since the lives of individuals and humans have no value for them.”
This seminary professor stated that assassination of Ismail Haniyeh on Iranian soil is considered as a kind of violation of the territory of a third country, and without a doubt, this act of the Zionists is not only an assassination and a conspiracy against a liberating human being, but also a kind of violation of the territory of another country; It actually shows that the Zionists have a strong enmity with Iran, Lebanon, Hamas and other resistance axis countries, and they showed their hatred in action this morning.
Hujjat al-Islam Hosseini noted that undoubtedly, this brutal aggression of the Zionists in martyring Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political office of Hamas in Tehran will not remain unanswered by the resistance front.
At the end of his speech, this seminary professor, while offering his condolences to the Palestinian nation and other Islamic countries, stated,” Martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh; The head of the political office of the Islamic resistance of Hamas in Tehran and the martyrdom of other resistance leaders in the last 10 months by the Zionists cannot be considered a war strategy, rather such actions will only make their evil face more apparat to the world.”
Ismail Haniyeh, the political bureau chief of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, and one of his bodyguards were killed in their residence in the Iranian capital early on Wednesday.
They were killed after their residence was hit, the public relations office of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said in a statement.
The reasons behind the attack are under investigation and the details will be released later, the statement read.
Haniyeh was in Tehran to attend the inauguration ceremony of the new Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Tuesday (July 30).
